AIHC Committees

The American Interprofessional Health Collaborative has several operational committees.  Committee members must have an affiliate membership with the AIHC and should submit their interest through the form below.  All committee members are appointed by the Board of Directors:

Collaborating Across Borders committee interfaces with the Canadian Interprofessional Health Collaborative to plan and coordinate the biennial CAB conferences with the AIHC. 

Collaborating Across Borders IV will be held in Vancouver, British Columbia on June 12-14, 2013. Click here for more details about the CAB IV conference.

Communications committee recommends and develops key messages, effective communication strategies and guidance to promote effective interaction and collaboration with member and external audiences.

Affiliation committee determines and makes recommendations for services and benefits for individuals and organizations for affiliating with the AIHC.  This committee develops strategies for expanding the AIHC affiliation to support the organization.

Programs committee plans and oversees various programming efforts, including the Leadership Webinar Series, a six-times a year program, by developing criteria for content, soliciting presenter interest, selecting presenters and working with the host institution to deliver the series. 

Resource and Sustainability committee develops plans and strategies for financial and other resources to advance the organization, including management of contributed services. 

In addition, the American Interprofessional Health Collaborative Board of Directors maintains two standing committees.  Members of the Board of Directors are eligible to serve on these committees:

Nominations committee is responsible for identifying members to serve on the Board of Directors and other committees.

Canadian Interprofessional Health Collaborative committee serves as the liaison between the AIHC and CIHC, reporting to the Board of Directors.
